Roots & Boots - a Hoedown Benefiting the Charlevoix Historical Society

Join us for an evening of fun at Shanahan's Barn, Charlevoix Country Club. $125 per person includes dinner & two drinks, entertainment by Horton Creek Band, line dancing, and more!

Apple Festival

Celebrate the fall harvest at Charlevoix's annual Apple Festival. This yearly celebration lets you enjoy freshly harvested apples and other fall products. Don’t miss out on each of these following fun activities:

Farmer's Market

Apple Fest is a great time to shop locally and fresh. Visit the market for pumpkins, mums, squash, jam, maple syrup, pies, bagels, mustard, crepes, cider, honey, meats, eggs, soups, a variety of baked goods, and more - All locally grown and produced.


Food Booths

Local non-profit organizations will be on-site to tempt you with hot food items such as chili, hot dogs, apple flappens, soup, Irish apple cake, hot cocoa, and kielbasa.


Arts and Crafts Show

One of Charlevoix’s most popular events! The Arts and Crafts show has grown in size! Many great artists in East Park and Mason Street will be selling one-of-a-kind items. This is a great chance to stock up holiday gifts for everyone on your shopping list.

Boozy Book Fair at Castle Farms

This event is FREE to the public! Drink tickets will be sold at the door.

Join us for the first-ever Boozy Book Fair at Castle Farms. This unique event combines the charm of literature with liberations, creating a delightful day for book lovers and connoisseurs alike.


At the Boozy Book Fair, you’ll be able to sip as you browse through literary treasures, meet with authors, and discover unique bookish merchandise.

Grand Wedding Expo at Castle Farms

You’re invited to Castle Farms for the annual Grand Wedding Expo. Attendance ticket sales will be coming soon for the Grand Wedding Expo. This event experience features displays by the most sought-after wedding and event professionals that Northern Michigan has to offer. Couples are certain to find resources for planning their wedding a breeze including tasting food from caterers and bakeries, viewing decorations and florals to bring all those pins to life, hearing music from the best DJ’s in the spaces that can be reserved for a wedding, and so much more! Thursday mornings from 8 AM - 1 PM: Charlevoix Farmer's Market

All products sold are locally grown and produced! From just-picked flowers and produce to baked goods and canned items, there is something for everyone! Weekly events at the Farmer's Market include children's story time, seminars on floral arranging and gardening, cooking demonstrations, hands-on children's activities, and lots of samples! Musicians on the street each week. Find pastries and coffee for breakfast, tasty bread and sandwiches for lunch, stock up on veggies and fruits, and support your local farmers. The Farmer's Market is open between 8 am and 1 pm, May through October, and is held in downtown Charlevoix's beautiful East Park.


Summer Open House - Thursday, June 13th

Charlevoix merchants are celebrating the arrival of the summer season with the Annual Welcome Back Summer Open House taking place downtown Charlevoix on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. Participating shops and restaurants will extend a warm welcome to all by offering great deals, prize drawings, specials, and more!


Live on the Lake Summer Concerts

On Thursday nights starting June 27th through August 15th, enjoy live musical performances in the Odmark Performance Pavilion in East Park in the most picturesque setting possible. Spread out a blanket or bring some lawn chairs while enjoying the views of Round Lake and the Charlevoix Marina. Summer Art Show - June 29 & 30th

The Charlevoix Summer Art Show features a mix of fine art and fine crafts displayed on the shores of scenic Round Lake in downtown Charlevoix. Participating artists are carefully selected to ensure a well-rounded show with many fun and unique items on display. Join us as we welcome the arrival of summer in northern Michigan at the Charlevoix Summer Art Show, where works of art and scenic views are just a step away!


Boyne Thunder - July 13th

Speed, excitement, and smiles return to northern Michigan for the Boyne Thunder Poker Run. This unique boating event showcases high-performance boats, slicing through the waters of Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan on a 150-mile excursion. Starting in Boyne City, the boats travel through Charlevoix on Saturday morning. Bystanders line up on the piers to watch the boats jet out into Lake Michigan.
